Hà Nội firms resume operations after Tết
As of February 23 (the seventh day of the first lunar month), 93.6 per cent of businesses in Hà Nội had resumed operations, while 96.4 per cent of workers had returned to work following the Tết holiday.
HÀ NỘI — Businesses in Hà Nội have reported that employees came back to work as early as the fourth and sixth days of the Tết (Lunar New Year) to prepare for production, inspect machinery, stabilise assembly lines and ensure timely fulfilment of early orders.
Several construction companies maintained operations throughout the holiday, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility, labour discipline and long-term commitment among workers.
According to the Hà Nội Labour Federation, no incidents affecting security and order were recorded at industrial parks across the city during the Tết Holiday.
Businesses granted employees leave in line with regulations and arranged on-duty staff to ensure security and safety at production facilities. — VNS
