HCM CITY — The country’s largest German cultural festival, GBA-Erdinger Oktoberfest 2025, will return this autumn in Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng and HCM City, bringing Bavarian beer, cuisine and music to thousands of festival-goers.

This year’s edition holds special meaning as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Việt Nam and Germany and the 30th anniversary of the German Business Association in Việt Nam (GBA).

Following last year’s success with more than 10,500 visitors and over 20,000 litres of beer served, Oktoberfest 2025 is expected to remain the biggest event of its kind in Southeast Asia.

The festival will take place in Hà Nội from September 25-27 at JW Marriott Hotel, in Đà Nẵng on October 3 at Furama Resort, and in HCM City from October 9-11 at Hotel Nikko Saigon. Visitors will enjoy authentic Erdinger brews, German delicacies, and live performances from the German-Austrian band O’zapft. – VNS
