HÀ NỘI — FPT Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FESCARO to collaborate on automotive software development and cybersecurity services.

The partnership aims to strengthen FPT’s cybersecurity capabilities for automotive clients while laying the groundwork for joint development of Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) solutions in South Korea and global markets.

As software becomes central to next-generation vehicle architectures, cybersecurity is emerging as a critical requirement from the earliest stages of development.

By combining FPT’s AI-driven approach and large-scale engineering capabilities with FESCARO’s expertise in automotive cybersecurity technologies, the two companies aim to deliver end-to-end, scalable solutions for automakers and Tier-1 suppliers facing increasingly complex security challenges.

The collaboration will cover key areas including security solutions, penetration testing, threat analysis, risk assessment and consulting services.

Initially, both sides will focus on delivering SDV-related services to key clients in South Korea, while exploring opportunities in connected and autonomous mobility worldwide.

FPT said cybersecurity is becoming a key enabler for the automotive industry as software, artificial intelligence and connectivity increasingly shape product value and customer trust.

With more than 5,000 automotive software engineers globally, FPT has built partnerships with leading chipmakers, Tier-1 suppliers, and OEMs, while investing in talent development through its automotive software engineering programs.

The company recently signed a technical assistance and development agreement with Qualcomm, gaining access to advanced technologies and engineering resources to accelerate AI-driven automotive solutions. - VNS
