HÀ NỘI — Dragon Capital has strengthened its holding in Taseco Land (TAL) after acquiring an additional 197,300 shares on October 16, raising its ownership to 8.0352 per cent of the company’s total capital.
The acquisition was carried out through three of Dragon Capital’s member funds: Amersham Industries Limited purchased 52,800 shares, Norges Bank acquired 50,000 shares, and Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited bought 94,500 shares.
Following the transaction, Dragon Capital’s total holdings in Taseco Land rose from over 28.7 million shares to more than 28.9 million shares. Based on TAL’s closing price of VNĐ50,300 on October 16, the investment for this acquisition amounted to around VNĐ9.9 billion (US$375,890).
Earlier, on September 22, Taseco Land completed a share issuance of 48.15 million shares, distributing them to 15 professional investors. Domestic investors purchased 28.15 million shares, while foreign investors acquired the remaining 20 million.
The shares were sold at VNĐ31,000 each, raising over VNĐ1.49 trillion. Following the issuance, Taseco Land’s outstanding shares increased from 311.85 million to 360 million, lifting its charter capital from over VNĐ3.1 trillion to VNĐ3.6 trillion. — BIZHUB/VNS
